Been away from Nigeria for about 6 days now attending some photography workshop in the UAE. The city is beautiful.
In my opinion, everybody needs to visit the UAE before they die.
Away from all the talk about the UAE, the workshop organized by the guys at the Gulf Photo Plus, brought together 5 of the best photographers in the world.
I had the opportunity to learn from and shoot with them for the past couple of days, topics ranging from corporate photography, portaits, available light techniques, flash techniques, workflow enhancements and the business side of photography.
I was partcularly drawn to both Bobbi Lane and David Tejada, 2 photographers that i have always held in awe, their classes were both fantastic and i learnt more from my sessions with them than in few years in photography combined, period.
Bobbi is down to earth and an exceptional teacher, David is a funny man turned photographer with an unparalleled mastery of flash photography using small strobes.
I have had talks with both photographers and they both want to do a workshop in Nigeria with Xsightn as host, i am currently working on this now and will update you when we start putting all the papers in order. So watch out Nigeria, Bobbi Lane and David Tejada to visit Nigeria very soon.
I got to meet and make friends with Photographer’s from all over the world, professionals from Iran, Pakistan, the US, the UK, Germany, Eygypt, France, Canada and a whole lot more.
